Tear Out Faulty Foundations
- Description
Many of us build our lives on beliefs that no longer serve us. This workshop looks at how those faulty foundations develop and why they continue to influence our thoughts, relationships and choices long after they should have been left behind.
Using the principles of the recovery program, the discussion explains why honest self-appraisal is an ongoing practice rather than something we complete once and forget. K.C. encourages listeners to recognize self-pity, fear and unhealthy relationship patterns inside themselves without judgement, and replacing them with humility, personal responsibility and a healthier way of living.
K.C. also talks about accepting pain as part of personal growth, learning to build self-respect from within, and developing a relationship with a Higher Power that supports lasting change. Along the way, practical ideas are shared for changing negative self-talk, identifying balanced relationships and creating a stronger foundation for recovery from addictionism of any kind.
