Forgiveness is a Way of Life
- Description
This workshop discusses how unresolved emotional wounds and fear-based thinking can quietly shape our behavior, relationships, and sense of self. Drawing on recovery program principles, the group reflects on how addictionism and emotional injury often take root in unhealed experiences rather than the situations we see on the surface.
A central theme of the workshop is forgiveness, explored not as a way of excusing harm, but as a way of freeing ourselves from old patterns.
K.C. speaks about how blame and emotional defensiveness can keep us stuck, and how taking responsibility for our inner life can open the door to greater honesty and clarity.
The conversation also touches on the difference between reacting from past wounds and responding from present awareness, with gentle reflection on why learning to forgive ourselves is an important part of healing. This also touches on Path 8.
