Emotional Triggers
- Description
This workshop centres on the inner connection we all have access to, and how easily it can be blocked by our own thinking patterns. K.C. focuses on awareness and learning to notice when the mind shifts into worry, self-criticism, or emotional discomfort, and understanding how these patterns influence behavior. Rather than blaming circumstances or other people, the conversation gently brings attention back to what is happening internally and how that can be worked with in a practical way.
In this session, he also touches on how relationships can act as mirrors. Moments of frustration, judgement, or tension are reframed as opportunities to recognize similar traits within ourselves.
A key part of the workshop looks at the idea of ‘defects’ as habits of thinking that have gone off track, rather than personal failings. By becoming aware of them in real time, there is a chance to shift direction before they spiral into deeper emotional states like anger or self-pity. This also touches on Paths 6 and 8.
Throughout the audio, there is a reminder that a sense of peace and connection is not something to chase externally. It is already present, but needs space to be felt and the work lies in clearing what gets in the way so that this connection can be carried into everyday life.
