There is a simple but transformative practice that changes the quality of almost everything you do: put love into it. Not enthusiasm as performance. Not forced cheerfulness. But a genuine, directed choice to bring the energy of love and care into whatever task is in front of you — including the ones you did not choose and would not have chosen.

What You Do With Love Finds You Back

Put love into whatever you do, and then what you love to do will find you. This is not a law of immediate return. It is a principle of alignment: when you bring love to your current work — even reluctant, unglamorous, uninspiring work — you are practicing the very skill that attracts the work you actually desire. The soul learns to express love in constrained circumstances, and that capacity then becomes available in freer ones.

This does not mean you will love every moment of everything you do. The soul desire is to try to put love into whatever you are doing — your Creator will only ask 100% of what you have in the moment you are in. That means you are not measured against an ideal. You are measured against what you actually have available right now, and asked only to give that.

Compliance Without Love Drains Energy

There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from doing things in compliance — saying yes with your body while your heart is absent. When you attend a commitment because you feel you have to, when you complete a task with internal resentment, when you show up in body but not in spirit — the cost is measurable. It lowers your energy. It creates fatigue not of the muscles but of the soul.

If you find yourself tired, look at whether you are doing things with love or with distaste. Love produces energy. Distaste consumes it. This is not about emotional manipulation — it is a practical observation about how the human system operates. When you redirect from distaste to love — even slightly, even imperfectly — the energy begins to return.

You Are the Master Chef

Stop living in distaste. What is a life if it has no flavor? You and your Creator are the master chef — make sure you cook with love. That means bringing intention to ordinary tasks. Choosing engagement over resentment when you say yes to something. Deciding that since you are doing this thing anyway, you will do it with the full quality of your attention and care. The meal made with love tastes different. The work done with love produces something different. The relationship tended with love grows differently than the one maintained out of obligation.

Key Takeaways

  • Put love into whatever you are doing — what you love to do will find you once you develop the skill of loving the task in front of you.
  • Your Creator asks only 100% of what you have in this moment — not an ideal standard, just everything you actually have available now.
  • Doing things in compliance — body present, heart absent — creates a specific kind of soul fatigue that drains your energy.
  • Love produces energy; distaste consumes it. If you are chronically tired, check whether you are working with love or with resentment.
  • You and your Creator are the master chef — decide to cook with love, even the ordinary tasks, and watch what changes in the result.
