We talk a lot about eliminating the negative — the destructive thoughts, the harmful patterns, the behaviors that hold us back. But there is an equally powerful practice on the other side: learning to recognize and amplify the goodness that is already present in your life. Not waiting for it to announce itself. Actively looking for it.
A Practical Measurement for Good Energy
Here is a useful measure for any area of your life — a relationship, a job, a community, a daily practice. Ask yourself: does this get progressively better the more time I spend with it? Do I feel compelled to come back to it? Does being in it stimulate more inner joy, more growth, more clarity?
It does not mean every interaction is miraculous. It means that, taken as a whole, there is forward movement. There is good energy. And when you notice it — in a person, a place, a way of spending time — you invest more of yourself there. That is how you amplify goodness in your life.
Embracing the Good Words People Speak Over You
Think about the times someone has said something to you in passing — “you have a good heart,” “your energy is so positive,” “it’s clear you want to do the right thing.” These remarks often come and go without being truly received. We brush them off or forget them in an hour.
But those words are data. They are reflections of who you are becoming. Do not just hear them — connect to them in your heart. They are affirmations of the character you are building, and they deserve to be embraced, not dismissed. That connection between the words others see in you and the identity you carry inside is profoundly important.
Progress, Not Perfection — in Every Direction
This is not an energy assessment of bad. It is an energy assessment of good, designed to move you forward. You are not looking at what is wrong with your relationships or your life. You are looking for the pockets of goodness — the places where forward movement is already happening — so that you can put more of your energy there.
In romantic relationships, friendships, professional endeavors — what is already working? What already has that positive inertia? Go there. Invest there. And equally important: do not limit your ability to see it to the mood you happen to be in today. A bad morning can make a healthy relationship look problematic. That is why you take it to your Creator, and ask to see with the highest frequency available to you.
Aligning with the Creator’s View
We must look at life with our Creator. Not just from our own limited, mood-colored perspective. When you attune yourself to the highest frequency you can access — the Creator’s perspective — you begin to see good energy that was invisible before. You see purpose in people who frustrated you. You see possibility in situations that looked stuck.
Desire the good energy, and recognize that you are that energy. You are not separate from it — you are a part of it. The goodness you seek in relationships and in life is a reflection of what is already inside you. Recognize it. Feed it. Go towards it today, right now, without waiting for some better moment to arrive.
- Goodness in relationships is measured by progressive positive energy — does it keep getting better over time?
- When people speak affirming words over you, receive them fully — they are data about who you are becoming.
- Invest more of your time and energy in the areas of life that already have forward momentum.
- Do not evaluate relationships or life from the mood of a single bad day — take the long view.
- Ask your Creator to help you see the good energy you are missing — He sees it clearly, even when you cannot.
