If you’re living in fear or worry, it’s because you don’t have a plan. That is not a criticism — it is a diagnosis. And the remedy is straightforward: create one. When anxiety grips you about a situation, the act of devising a plan of action will lessen that anxiety, often dramatically. You will know you have found the right plan because the fear begins to lift as you build it.

Quiet the Disturbance First
If there is any problem we face in life, we must first quiet the disturbance. When we are in a balanced, calm place — not in the middle of the storm — then we can map out a plan of action. You can apply this to a relationship, to work, to getting sober, to anything that is creating constant worry or concern.
Sometimes it takes a great deal of energy to walk toward a solution. But you must be actively looking for a plan and genuinely desiring to know what it is. Ask your Creator to show you the plan, and the parts begin to come together. As the signs come, write them down. As you take action on each step, the fears and anxiety will subside — and passion will take the place of those other emotions.
What the Right Plan Feels Like
Not every plan is the right plan. The correct plan must be:
- Purposeful — it aligns with something meaningful to you
- Achievable — it is realistic for where you are right now
- Invigorating — each step forward creates genuine passion
If you feel subjected to a plan, or are merely complying with one, it is not the right plan. The correct plan will make you feel excited to see it come to fruition. Each step you take where you see the vision being fulfilled will generate more energy, not less. If that passion is not there, reevaluate. Investigate where your happiness truly lies.
The correct plan will make you feel invigorated to see the plan come to fruition, to come true.

Your Dreams Must Be Articulable
Your dreams can come true — but you must be able to articulate them. You must be able to see them clearly. If you can truly see a dream, you should be able to write down how you are going to go about achieving it.
Write down the entire dream — no matter what it is — and then ask yourself: Is it realistic? Is it accomplishable? A college education is a four-to-six year plan, but it is a plan — one that starts the moment you decide to enroll. If it is the right plan for you, you will feel a sense of excitement when you map it out and create a timeline for it.
A true plan does not have to be rushed. There is no desperation in a true plan. We do not want to overload ourselves or take on more than we can do. That creates fatigue, wear, and unfinished efforts. Map it out in a way that is appropriate for what you can actually achieve.
The Vision Script: From Idea to Reality
Once you have a plan that is realistic, achievable, and has a timeline, the next step is to break it into baby steps. Your Creator will give you the indicators for what to create and how to follow the plan. As those indicators come to you — write them down. They will branch out into other areas to help manifest the plan. Each small step will feel right, and that feeling confirms you are on the correct path.
This is what creative imagination is all about. We have all heard: You can’t build a house until you can envision what it is. The same is true for a life. You cannot have the dream until you can see what it is.
As you begin to write the plan, you take something from the idea world and give it form. The moment you put it on paper, you bring it from the fourth dimension into the three-dimensional world — from imagination into reality — by your own hand, in concert with your Creator. Once it is on paper and it makes sense and is achievable, it creates the passion to see it through.
The Fundamentals of Your Vision Script
K.C. calls this approach the Vision Script — a goal-setting plan guided by fundamental spiritual principles. Here is what it requires:
- What is your dream? State it clearly.
- Is it realistic? Can you actually achieve it from where you are today?
- Create a timeline. Give it a beginning, middle, and end.
- Break it into manageable steps. Small, achievable actions.
- Look for signs. Intuition and inspiration from your Creator as you move forward.
Be patient. The real signs will come. When they come, they connect you to that omniscient mind that is always pointing in the right direction. Even if you can only see a small portion of the plan right now — that is enough. Get the spark of inspiration, write it out, and break it down into steps. Let it unfold inside of you. Have fun doing it.

Much love,
K.C.
